Digital transformation and digitization are huge topics on which Brian Gracely shares his insights in this great interview from the Build Business Acumen Podcast archives. It is just as relevant now as it was then!
Digital transformation is the process of adapting to a digital world, while digitization is the process of turning everything into data. Digital transformation is about creating value in a digital world, while digitization is about understanding and leveraging the power of data.
“Digital transformation is the process of using digital technologies to create new — or modify existing — business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and market requirements… It transcends traditional roles like sales, marketing, and customer service.” Salesforce
As an example: Wimbledon has been successful in their digital transformation by putting it at the core of what they do, even so far as taking over the broadcasting and saying that they’re in control of it now. They changed their supply chain as a result of their digital transformation, and this has reversed the power dynamic between Wimbledon and the BBC.

International Imposter Syndrome Awareness Day Update.
As this year’s International Imposter Syndrome Awareness Day approaches (13th April) we are working hard behind the scenes creating the resources and content to provide support, advice and a community for those suffering from confidence.
We are delighted to have two amazing new volunteers joining the cause. Introducing Juan Hoyos and Bishakha Jain (IBM) who have joined the team to ensure this year is better than ever and more people get the support they need.
We launched the Spanish Version of the Overcoming Imposter Syndrome Podcast to support #IISAD.
