Mastering Imposter Syndrome is crucial to your happiness and living with it on a day to day basis is something that Lisa Ventura is used to doing.
Lisa Ventura MBE is an award-winning cyber security specialist, a role model for women and a neurodiverse leader. She has broken down barriers throughout her career to pursue her passion for cyber security. With over 20 years of experience as an authority in her field, she is one of the cyber security industries most sought-after experts. She is currently exploring the link between imposter syndrome and narcissistic abuse, as well as looking at whether those who are neurodiverse are more likely to be plagued by imposter syndrome. In 2023 Lisa was awarded an MBE in the King’s birthday honours list for services to cyber security and diversity and inclusion. More information can be found on her website www.lisaventura.co.uk.
Her first book “The Rise of the Cyber Women: Volume One” was published in August 2020 and her second book “The Varied Origins of the Cyber Men: Volume One” was published in November 2020, both to great acclaim. Lisa is part of the Advisory Group for the newly created West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre, sits on the board of Think Digital Partners and is part of Cyber Security Valley UK. She is also a strong advocate for women in cyber security, the cyber skills gap and neurodiversity.
