Today, the Covid pandemic as well as the arrival of digital technology in all sectors have put the human resources department at the centre of all changes needed. We can note two areas that will change in the management of human resources and employees mentality.

Mindset And The Future Of Work With Digital Transformation

The mentality of employees has changed. Today we don’t owe everything to the company that hires us. The business/life balance has changed. For young people (millennials – born between 1996 and 2004) joining the company, loyalty to one employer no longer exists. These young people have seen their parents work long hours and get laid off without a care in the world. They don’t want to be treated that way anymore and if they see that the company doesn’t treat them the way they want, they leave.

We are experiencing a transformation of work due to the pandemic. Many people have been affected as well as many companies. Working from home is gradually becoming the norm. What does it mean for companies and how can they cope?

Levelling Up Your Communication Through Face Whispering

To quote the theme tune for Notting Hill – “You say it best when you say nothing at all.” The question is what are we saying? Are we on message – or are we saying something completely different from what is intended?

The truth is we are all communicating, all the time, even when we don’t want to. We communicate emotions from the fleeting micro-expressions to the photos we use on our social media profiles and in across our personal brand.

Unless we understand what emotions look like, and how you are communicating your emotions through facial expression, we can’t really be sure – we could be silently sabotaging our dreams.

This has always been a subject that fascinates me because I believe at our core people want to be listened to, understood and respected. I am always looking for ways to better understand people and communicate more effectively. Which is why I studied to become a face whisperer – to understand micro-expressions and how to read them, to understand the person I am speaking with and connect with them more effectively.
